Meet the panelists

Mark Bowers, Professional Development Consortium of Hampton Roads

Mark Bowers helps do-gooders do more good. His specialty is in measuring the critical yet unquantifiable behaviors that drive outcomes. Mark has way too many years in leadership and management of government, commercial, and non-profit efforts. He also served twenty years as a US Navy submarine officer. After leaving the corporate workforce, Mark established a consulting practice to promote performance improvement within mission-focused organizations. Mark’s current “labor of love” is as founder and executive director of the Professional Development Consortium of Hampton Roads (PDCHR.org) which provides affordable, accessible, and intimate leadership education for community-level associations.

Mark Prevost, Billhighway

Mark Prevost is the SVP of Growth at Billhighway. He has an unrelenting passion for helping non-profit organizations find impactful solutions. Mark brings every organization he works with through an in-depth discovery process to uncover internal obstacles and identify ways to leverage technology to streamline operations. He is known for his intuitive ability to problem-solve creatively, helping organizations focus on their mission, multiply their impact, and grow.

Sharon Harrington, Amediate, LLC

Sharon Harrington leads the operations of Amediate, LLC., as a principal and Managing Organizational Communication Consultant. Through her commitment and dedication she has worked to assist organizations in navigating conflict by facilitating workplace learning in self-mediating skills, investigating elevated claims of workplace discrimination and mediating conflict in efforts of resolution. She has been credited in her ability to objectively listen and gather information that tells the complete and factual story, thus creating an environment where she is highly trusted by both sides of the conflict.

What will be discussed?

  • Strategies for operations management
  • Operational-oriented goals to consider
  • Tools, software, and other resources out there to help run your association
  • And more!

Who should attend?
